Gaogouli County

The Gaogouli County (高句麗縣) was one of three prefectures of Xuantu Commandery in southeastern Manchuria.[1] It was established by the Han Dynasty after the fall of Gojoseon to keep Goguryeo tribes in check.[2]

However, Gaogouli County was moved to Liaoyang by 75 BCE due to the pressure from Goguryeo tribes. [2]
